It is unusual, please reset the item and also upgrade the app to the latest version to see if there are some differences. I hate to depend on the app for that simple comfort that makes having spent upward 100+ dollars on the product worth it. I own Soundcore's Q35 pair of headphones, and maybe it's just this pair with the app, but it's become a recent and frequent issue I just can't tolerate, as the default eq is the worst (In my opinion.) The default eq should be able to be changed to whatever your preference is, honestly.
